Beautiful Sussex by the Sea
This well-appointed self catering apartment forms the North Wing of a private house on Shoreham-Beach, which is the name for a narrow peninsula bordered by the English Channel to the south and the River Adur to the north.
Shoreham-by-Sea enjoys good rail connections and by car you'll be on fast major roads almost all the way. The town itself can experience congestion at rush hours, especially when there are road works which seem to plague us of late.
If Shoreham-by-Sea isn't busy enough for you, the bright lights of Brighton are just a few miles away, easily reached by car, but the parking charges are ridiculously high. If you want a drink with your night out, the 700 bus service is convenient and cheap (the bus stop is just over the footbridge about 20 minutes stroll from the apartment). The railway station is a bit further and also offers direct services to Brighton and Hove, but the bus is cheaper and drops you closer to the centre (Churchill Square).
Trains and buses also run west to Worthing which offers a more relaxed night out and offers a surprising number of good restaurants to go with the excellent pubs (try The Egremont).
